Out of my thirty or so guitars, I'm surprised, but happy to say my new G# has become pretty much my main axe! I've already used it for several gigs, and it's just absolutely the greatest addition to my set - I still can't get over it! I would never have guessed a guitar this small would have such a big impact on my playing, but it really has! My favorite thing about it is it's responsiveness - unlike most guitars I play, there's nothing between my playing, and the guitar - if that makes sense. It doesn't contradict, or fight my hands, but instead perfectly translates every light touch or hard hit into the exact sound I was going for - and that's so nice!
It's a nice change, you know, having a guitar that plays and sounds the way you want it to, and not the way it wants to!
The natural resonance of the guitar is beautiful, too - it's the first thing every guitar player I've shown my G# to comments on! The ring and chime it has to every chord and every note is just unbelievable!
